Continuing the adventures of mountain man Nate King and his family as in REAP THE WHIRLWIND they travel farther into the rugged Rocky Mountains to find a more secluded home. Along the way, fighting off attacks from rattlesnakes and wild buffalo, Nate becomes separated from the rest of the group.
