The following Historic Resources Survey Report for the Central Avenue Historic District provides a summary of the current condition of all resources surveyed, maps of the project area and recommended boundary revisions, Arkansas Historic Preservation Program (AHPP) Architectural Resources Forms and digital photographs for each surveyed property. The survey and evaluation of the subject resources were conducted by S. Elizabeth Valenzuela, a qualified cultural resource specialist meeting the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards (36 Code of Federal Regulations [CFR] Part 61) in the fields of Architecture, Historic Architecture, and Architectural History. Fieldwork and archival research for the project occurred from March through May 2017.
